We never flood firms with candidates who won’t fit.

Firms are too often inundated with candidates whose resumes are non-starters because recruiters aren’t paying attention to position requirements. Abshire Legal Search doesn’t send candidates where they won’t fit.

Our Unfair Advantage

We make it our job to stand out from the crowd of other recruiters. It’s our business to make your experience finding the right fit as simple and stress-free as possible. Our process is what makes us different from the rest and we consider that to be our unfair advantage.

1.

Market Knowledge

We have an uncommon insight into the strengths and culture of different firms and which associates and partners would be a good fit at each of them. With more than a decade of recruiting experience, Abshire Legal Search is uniquely qualified to help firms, associates, and partners find the right fit. We firmly believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to recruiting and placements.

2.

Trustworthiness

Some recruiters are just looking to make a quick buck. They don’t really care about candidate’s interests or long-term fit. Abshire Legal Search is in it for the long-haul. If it’s not the right fit for you, we don’t force it. We take pride in placing our candidates, where they belong, and not where it is convenient.

3.

Meticulous Process

You won’t be flying solo at any phase of the process. We guide you through everything from revising resumes & business plans, prepping for interviews, negotiating offers, acclimating to the local legal community, and everything in between. We’ll never blast out a resume and disappear until it’s time to send the invoice. That’s not our style.

Attuned to the interests of our candidates.

Some recruiters make candidates feel like a commodity and then pressure them to look at opportunities they don’t want or aren’t the right fit for. We make it our business to do exactly the opposite.

OUR CANDIDATES

Abshire Legal Search regularly assists partners and associates in making lateral moves.

We understand that the decision to begin a search is an important one. We’re happy to offer confidential advice on a number of topics that can help you to determine whether to begin a search, including current and historic demand in your practice area, the strength of your candidacy, and the best time to enter the market.

Our Employers

At Abshire Legal Search and Consulting, we are ever conscious of our clients long-term growth plans and we present candidates who fit those objectives.

We serve as a resource to law firm managing partners, hiring partners, recruiting managers, & in-house legal departments on compensation, the lateral job market, and best hiring practices.

We also assist law firms and companies in setting the parameters of a search, by assessing the size of the potential candidate pool.
